@THBDoncaster @Doncaster_SN Nits .Nits … nits … are what historically defined an ‘old school SN service’ … that said, it is an on going health issue in 2023 that affects
😕self esteem
✔️ school attendance
👨⚕️physical health
✋ social isolation
👊🏻 bullying
Impact of nits as relevant now as it was before
Year 5 enjoyed talking about sleep this morning! It was great to discuss night time routines and the different things we can do to get a better nights sleep! @Doncaster_SN
“We encourage students to go to the toilet at regular set times during the day”. This probably doesn’t include the natural timing for a bowel to empty which is 20-30 minutes after eating so most pupils are back in school after lunch 😬 how about basic human rights?
Excellent points made by @SAPHNAsharonOBE on @BBCBreaking about the importance of the school nursing role when identifying and supporting you people to over come and understand eating disorders @Doncaster_SN
So the @Doncaster_SN have 2 B5 Community Staff Nurse vacancies 12 months fixed term and a B6 SCPHN 28hrs all year round - permanent contract. Keep an eye out on NHS jobs.
