Very windy walk this afternoon. Perfect for seeing Quaking Aspen trees living up to their name. Populus tremula - so named due to it habit of 'trembling' or quaking in the breeze.

If you want bees in your garden, plant Echium /Viper's bugloss.
The bees love it - I think these were Common Carder Bumblebees.
I'm obviously a better gardener than photographer!

#30DaysWild Day 2
It brightened up so went for a walk at Sence Valley on the hunt for orchids. Delighted to find a Bee Orchid again after 2 years without any. Also plenty of Common Spotted Orchids and Ragged Robin. And a little moth I've never seen before - Burnet Companion.
It’s open! You can vote on which creatures should appear on the next series of Bank of England banknotes https://t.co/kVGembDkCG to replace the single species that is on them now. When you vote you will see cute pictures of them by the tick box. Feel free to announce your choice!
@FloralRainbowAW@DollysGarden The Wildlife Trusts and 30 Days Wild account have left Twitter but 30 Days Wild still happening so I’m using the hashtag.

Is Goodrich Castle worth a visit? We pass the signs to it regularly as we pass on our way down to daughter’s place.
