Very thankful to meet with @sharongregson of @CCCA_BC & @10aDayPlan to discuss the state of child care in our communities and how we keep moving forward toward high-quality, affordable child care for families.

Progress on child care in BC has stalled, and that should concern all of us. Child care is a basic building block for strong families, healthy childhood development, and a successful economy. When families can access reliable, affordable care, children thrive, parents, especially women, can participate in the workforce, and communities are stronger.

We had a productive discussion about how we can continue pushing forward in Port Coquitlam and deliver what we already know works and makes sense for families across our province.
