Today’s FFS Friday celebrates Ella Frei, a 17-year-old high school senior in Wisconsin who recently delivered a banger of a speech before her school board, explaining exactly why male students don’t belong in girls’ sports or spaces. @EllaFrei17

Caution didn't win women the vote, or equal pay, or fair sport, or the right to single-sex spaces. Sophie Cunningham is standing up for women and girls everywhere and it's glorious. Fuck caution.
I was on Fox & Friends this morning and I still can't believe it was real.
I got to sit next to Ella Frei - who's been a hero of mine - and thank Sophie Cunningham for standing up for girls like me.
Last season I had to compete against a boy, and there was a boy changing in our locker room. When we spoke up, we were told to let it go. So getting to say it out loud this morning meant everything.
If you're going through this right now: you're not crazy, and you're not alone.
Indiana Fever statement --
“Our players are thoughtful adults with their own perspectives and voices, and those views are their own. We are committed to welcoming fans from every background and treating everyone with respect, and that’s what guides us as an organization.”
Clearly distancing themselves from Sophie Cunningham, who has spoken up to defend women's sports. But not going so far as to give her the boot. Or even suspend her. Progress.
Sophie Cunningham addresses her recent comments to ESPN about wanting to protect women's sports.
"I said what I said, I think it's kinda common sense."
I’m 16. I play because I love my sport and my team.
Watching @sophaller say it out loud — that girls shouldn’t have to give up fair competition or our privacy — meant more than she’ll ever know. When a WNBA star says it, maybe people finally listen.
I know what it’s like to have your voice on this treated like it’s hateful. It isn’t. Wanting a fair game and a private locker room was never hate. It’s just the truth, and I’m done being afraid to say it.
Thank you, Sophie, for going first. You made it easier for the rest of us.
27 states currently provide female-only athletics for K-12 athletes.
Notice how there have been no reports of "genital inspections," no massive upticks in male suicides or increased instances of bullying in those states.
Also note how boys in those states have simply returned to or have always been just fine playing on teams with other boys.
It's truly incredible how none of the excuses states currently fighting against female sport make for their actions have ever actually come to fruition in states where Title IX is upheld.
It's almost as if they are lying...
"I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans. And I'm like, 'I never once said that. ' I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think with that love is truth, being honest. And I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn't have to go against biological men." - Sophie Cunningham
We have been under the tyranny of the minority for far too long.
Female athletes, stop being afraid to speak out. So many more people support you than not. There are millions of young girls who are counting on you.
Thank you, Sophie.

🎾Breaking: No men allowed in women’s professional tennis
The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) implements sex-screening for all players “to preserve the integrity of women’s professional tennis and maintain fair competition conditions for all players…”
Thank you to tennis stars @Martina@ChrissieEvert and @SabalenkaA for being outspoken advocates of fair sport and equal opportunities for women. 👏👏👏
The USOPC does not actually enforce its directive to national governing bodies to comply with the Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports Executive Order, although they’d like to pretend they have banned men from Team USA. @SenateCommerce
BREAKING: America’s Olympic sweetheart has a younger brother taking accolades in multiple girls’ sports.
“The Liu family represents two opposing forces: the pinnacle of excellence in female sports and, at the same time, a profound threat to the integrity of those sports”
