Looking forward to starting to plan how we’re going to use CJ data next year - thank you for running it again! Interesting to see the KS4 addition, too.
Comparing it with NRT results gave us some really valuable information last year.

We’ve sourced a Ukrainian translation of ‘Of Mice And Men’ - if it would be helpful for your students and you’d like a copy, dm me and I’ll send one over :)

All of us at SD1 would like to wish you a very happy New Year! 🎉

Well, what a year we’ve had! We moved into our new home way back in January, and we’ve not stopped since! We’ve managed to rehearse for, produce and perform a whopping SIX shows this year… which is amazing!

[Stage Door 1 @stagedoor1youth]

We’ve been getting into the Christmas spirit since September here at SD1, and ‘Nativity! The Musical’ was such a special way to kick off the festivities! 🎅🏻❤️

Head over to our Facebook/Instagram page to read more about the last few months at SD1!🤩

Take a look at our wonderful Seniors (and some last minute Junior and Infant editions!!) singing at Llantwit Major School’s Christmas Fayre last night! 🎶

They performed some solos, duets, and group numbers, with the finale song being (of course) Sparkle and Shine! 🤩🤩🤩

[Stage Door 1 @stagedoor1youth]

Our Nativity cast had a HUGE day yesterday! We had our Seniors and Juniors (and even a couple of our Infants!) in for a WHOLE DAY of rehearsals, and they were absolutely incredible! They never fail to amaze us with their dedication and enthusiasm!🥰🎅🏻

Yesterday, a group of our wonderful Seniors kicked off Cowbridge’s Halloween festivities with a BANG! ⚡️🎃

We watched them perform their Halloween play ‘Ghost Hunters’ to a theatre that was utterly packed to the rafters, and it was an absolute HIT! 👻

WE’RE BACK! 🥳 We had a fab morning at SD1 today; I think our Infants and Juniors look happy to be back, don’t you?

This morning we played name games, tied the Juniors in knots and gave our students the inside scoop on our next production!

More info about that coming soon! 🤩

[Stage Door 1 @stagedoor1youth]

We hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend! Here’s our last lot of behind-the-scenes shots from ‘Be More Chill’! Our Seniors had SO much to contend with in this show and they took it all in their stride - and from these photos, it looks like they had fun doing it!!

[Stage Door 1 @stagedoor1youth]

We’ve been a little bit quiet on social media over the last few days… firstly because we’re all a little bit exhausted after our run of INCREDIBLE shows, but mostly because we’re only just working out how to express how insanely, overwhelmingly, unbelievably PROUD we are. 1/7
