There is no mastery without feedback. But it’s hard.
This checklist has really helped me over the years.
My mantra for receiving feedback: Be brave. Listen. You can take what’s helpful and leave the rest.
My mantra for giving feedback: Clear is kind. Unclear is unkind.
You said "what punishment of gods are not gifts. Do you really believe that?" @andersoncooper, choking back tears, asks Stephen Colbert, as they discuss grief.
"Yes," replies the comedian. "It's a gift to exist and with existence comes suffering. There's no escaping that."
Such a cool day. I had the chance to spend time with the bright & eager minds of @Double0AG’s Code Orlando group earlier this week and present with @jayriola on the Magic’s business analytics program. Can’t wait to see the impact these kids will make.
Yesterday @Double0AG helped 30 local youths learn about the business of basketball.
They were taught about analytics and sports performance training while developing their interest in STEM!
Gnight
to the mistakes
your heart makes
to the peaks
your body seeks
To the defeats
Your brain repeats
And the grace
You continue to chase.
Be safe,
rest up.
Yes! Fourth star. Back to back. Congrats to the record breakers on the @USWNT, an incredible team that’s always pushing themselves—and the rest of us—to be even better. Love this team. #OneNationOneTeam
Gmorning
from the space you need
to love, to fail, to try things out, to rage, to apologize, to goof around,
to grow up no matter your age, to breathe
Gmorning from the rehearsal room of your life
Let’s go again
“40 years of trickle-down policies have rigged the economy in favor of wealthy people like me. Americans are more highly educated than ever before, but despite that, and despite nearly record-low unemployment, most American workers—have seen little if any wage growth since 2000.”
This is worth a read: a thought-provoking reminder that education reform isn’t a cure-all. As a supporter of education reform, I agree that fixing educational inequality requires doing more to address the broader, systemic sources of economic inequality. https://t.co/96B7fkBM4u

On International Women’s Day, I’m reflecting on the future we all want for our daughters: one where they can live out their aspirations without limits. And I’m celebrating some of the women who are building that future for all of us today.
