Its Volunteer Week 2026, a time to reflect and thank all our fantastic Play Volunteers. They are a integrated part of our team and we are so proud to have them alongside us in their bright red t-shirts helping families to have a really positive experience when visiting us.

Play staff have worked so hard decorating wards,

Look out for some special visitors this afternoon. The play staff have some very different uniforms on to help Santa check what patients are visiting the hospital. He will note this all down as he plans for Christmas Eve.

We received a very generous and thoughtful donation from Ellie - May and Bethany. We can use some of the fantastic items on the ward and others will be gifted to patients. Thank you to you both, your kindness is greatly appreciated.

The fab team from SCAA @ScotAirAmb took time out of their busy day to make one small patients day with an impromptu visit to their helicopter. This not only helped brighten the patients day but his dad's too. Thank you so much guys, your kindness is greatly appreciated.

We have had the best Halloween ever. Face painting, party games, dressing up and the annual trick N treat round the wards. Staff had just as much fun as the patients.
