Two things that didn't make it into this story:
-I wrote this after a digital marketing meeting in which Patricia mentioned her cat's 20,000 TikTok followers. (It *is* a great icebreaker!)
-When answering my questions, she made her answers be orange, because of her orange cat.🧡
“People are always surprised when they hear my cat has 20,000 followers,” said Patricia Kraus, a @DrexelOnline email marketing manager who shares videos of her orange tabby Herman and his daredevil behavior. “It’s a great icebreaker, that’s for sure!”

Even if you didn't work with Billy at Drexel, you've seen him/his work on all the Drexel buses (he was SO proud of the current blue/gold ones), displays, DrexelNow images & everything else he designed over 14 years. Now this tree in Drexel Park. Big-time operations. I miss you.
While we were away...

As someone who has struggled FOR YEARS to write about Drexel's founder, someone who destroyed his personal papers and always avoided the spotlight during his lifetime ... I gasped at this thrilling, eye-opening discovery.
This handwritten letter from @DrexelUniv's founder Anthony J. Drexel was recently discovered by @drexelarchives.
Written to his son John R. Drexel in 1890, the letter sheds a warm light on the famously private founder.

For more than 100 years, a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee has stood at the U.S. Capitol representing Virginia. The statue has now been removed.
It's expected to be replaced by a statue honoring civil rights activist Barbara Johns. https://t.co/7yizTsdP1g
