Mobility ≠ Flexibility
Many people use these terms interchangeably, but they're not the same thing.
Flexibility is the ability of a muscle to lengthen. Mobility is the ability of a joint to move actively through its range of motion.
In other words, flexibility is one piece of mobility, but mobility involves more than stretching alone.
Both play an important role in how you move, exercise, and perform everyday activities. Focusing on one while ignoring the other can limit progress and increase the risk of movement compensations over time.
Understanding the difference can help you train more effectively, move with greater confidence, and support long-term joint health.

Tomorrow, ALIVE Las Colinas officially begins its full class schedule.
For months, you've watched the transformation take shape. The construction is complete. The technology is online. The classes are ready.
Starting Tuesday, June 2nd, classes begin every 30 minutes throughout the day, giving you more opportunities to move, recover, and make wellness fit your schedule.
And we're just getting started.
Join us this week as we count down to our Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, June 6.

Younger consumers aren't going out less. They're just going somewhere different.
Instead of bars and nightlife, more people are turning to fitness, wellness, and movement as part of their everyday lifestyle. A recent Bloomberg report says Gen Z and millennials are spending more on gym memberships, boutique classes, and wellness experiences as they prioritize health, connection, and community.
At ALIVE, we understand why.
There’s something different about walking into a room full of energy instead of noise. About leaving class feeling clearer instead of drained.
For many people, ALIVE has become more than yoga and fitness. It’s part of how they reset after work. How they reconnect with themselves. How they meet people. How they build routines that actually make them feel better physically and mentally.
Maybe that’s why more people are investing in wellness instead of just another night out.
Most people say they want to “get healthy” or “get fit,” but those goals are not always the same thing.
Health focuses on how your body functions internally. Fitness is your ability to perform specific tasks and move through life with strength, energy, and confidence.
When you understand the difference, your workouts start to feel more purposeful and your progress becomes easier to measure in ways that actually matter to you.
Whether your goal is longevity, performance, stress reduction, mobility, or simply feeling better in your body, the right training approach starts with clarity.

People come to ALIVE for different reasons.
For some, it starts with the convenience of classes. For others, it’s the immersive experience, the atmosphere, the workout, or just the chance to step away from everything else for an hour.
At some point, it becomes more than that.
This is Ben’s story.
There’s a big difference between simply heating a room and creating an environment that works with the body.
At ALIVE, our patented dew point control system manages room temperature and humidity. It is designed to allow sweat to evaporate efficiently, helping your body cool naturally so you can move deeper into stretches and recover faster without the typical suffocating heat of other hot yoga and fitness studios.
Whether you’re brand new to heated classes or already love them, ALIVE was designed to help you move in a completely different way.
Try one of our heated classes in Plano, Southlake, and now Las Colinas.
Las Colinas, early access begins now.
We’re excited to officially welcome you into the ALIVE experience.
From the lighting and sound to our patented environmental controls, every detail was intentionally designed to create a more immersive and supportive experience from the moment you walk in.
Your first class is waiting.

School’s almost out, summer schedules are filling up, and routines are about to shift.
Between vacations, camps, late nights, and suddenly having everyone home more, it becomes a lot easier to put yourself and your wellness routine on the back burner this time of year.
That’s why ALIVE was designed differently.
With classes starting every 30 minutes, immersive yoga, pilates, barre, and fitness experiences are always within reach. Whether you have a full hour or just 15 minutes, there’s a class waiting for you.
Start for $24.99 and experience ALIVE this summer in Plano, Southlake, and now Las Colinas.
The wait is over!
ALIVE Las Colinas opens Wednesday, May 20th for early access ahead of our official Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, June 6th.
During early access, classes will run on a limited schedule as we begin bringing the full Quantum Experience online.
What you experience in Nucleus is built frame by frame.
The timing. The energy. The lighting. The music. The movement. Every detail gets tested, adjusted, re-shot, and rebuilt until it feels right.
This is a look at the process behind our Nucleus class before it ever made it to the screens.
ALIVE Las Colinas is getting closer.
We’ve been hard at work building an experience that’s worth the wait. From our patented heat and humidity to immersive screens, lighting, and sound, every detail is being carefully brought to life.
We’re now entering the final stages, including testing the video and sound systems before final city approvals. If everything continues moving as planned, we’re currently planning to reopen THIS MONTH.
We know the wait has felt long, and we truly appreciate everyone who has continued to hang in there with us. We can’t wait to open the doors and finally share what we’ve been building with the Las Colinas community.
Where intentional heat, immersive sound, lighting, and movement come together to create an experience designed to help you disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself.
An environment built to make showing up feel easier, movement feel better, and wellness fit into real life.
That's the ALIVE Quantum Experience.

ALIVE combines movement, intentional heat, immersive visuals, and sound to help your nervous system slow down and your body release tension. Every session feels like pressing reset on your day.
You leave lighter, calmer, and stronger.
Two months into the Las Colinas renovation, and we’re getting close.
We’re putting the final pieces together and not quite ready to announce a reopening date yet, but early summer is the goal.
We can’t wait to welcome you back into the space.
Tennis and pickleball are back, which usually means more games, more time on the court, and for a lot of people, more aches showing up.
Most players only train the sport, but don’t do much for the body behind it. That’s usually where things start to break down.
Yoga helps fill that gap so you can keep playing.
If you want a competitive edge on the court, check the link in bio.
ALIVE’s heat isn’t about suffering through a sweaty workout.
It’s designed to help muscles warm faster, move easier, and recover better while you flow.
The room supports your body so you can focus on feeling stronger instead of pushing harder.
This is what smarter wellness feels like.
Experience it for $24.99.
Southlake and Plano now enrolling.
