Columbia High School graduate, Alivia Landy (@AliviaLandy), is your @cdswoy 2025 Grand Scholastic Woman of the Year.
Landy, a three-sport athlete, became the first @BlueDevils_CHS1 student-athlete to ever be selected by the Capital District Sports Women of the Year.
Congratulations to our very own @AliviaLandy for being one of ten athletes named to the Capital District Sports Women of the Year class of 2025!

Section 2 Class AA FINALS 🏆
(1)Columbia 18
(2)Catholic Central 17
End q1
There’s a lot I could say about the first 8, but here’s a good start. @AliviaLandy won’t be denied. How about this for 2 of her 12 early pts for @BlueDevils_CHS1 😅
Can’t understate this. Really good stuff in the first 8 minutes. Feels more like St. Patrick’s Day level stuff. State level AA teams cranking in the early going
G V Basketball: Columbia Girls Varsity Basketball won at West Genesee 63-37 tonight! After going into half up 6, the Blue Devils blew the doors open, extending the lead to 21 entering the 4th. The offense was led by Alivia Landy with 24, Sarah Rainville 14 & Kendyl Ouimette 13.
Congratulations to this week’s winners of our Play of the Week poll, Columbia's Alivia Landy and Sarah Rainville! @AliviaLandy@BlueDevils_CHS1 https://t.co/mYWlQ53zee
The Columbia girls basketball team improved to 12-1 with an impressive 65-51 win over Shen. The Blue Devils led by as many as 18 in the first half. @BlueDevils_CHS1@AliviaLandy
Columbia 37
Baldwinsville 17
Half
A defensive clip 🎞️
Baldwinsville had success for a while yesterday running continuity wing ball screen offense vs man. Not so much this morning. One of the few times the ballhandler has been comfortable off a screen, and even when they hit the roll here, @AliviaLandy said no 🚫
This beautiful sport we play is a game of matchups. The Shen matchup was ok for Baldwinsville. The Columbia matchup… different story. Swarming defensive effort, end-to-end play with aggression, and they’ve been physically overpowering. All 3 of their main guns in double figures, @kendyl_ouimette 12 to lead all scorers
G V Basketball: Congratulations to Alivia Landy on eclipsing the 1000 point mark during tonight’s win over Colonie High School! Alivia becomes the 4th female in school history to achieve this milestone!
