@fantasticarg3 @emilykmay There’s probably a equal number where fuckery by the husband prompts the filing - but I think the disparity is due to the baffling number of cases where the husband says “I want a divorce” but never does anything to progress it, leading the wife to eventually file.

@emilykmay Divorce lawyer here - when I’ve got husband and he’s the one filing first, there is usually some kind of fuckery going on with the wife. Could be slow-walking what we thought would be a resolution, or withholding the kids, or wrongfully changing the locks on the house….
