🥀 33 years ago today, on a Saturday morning, ordinary Azerbaijanis were met w gunfire by the Soviet Army. By mid afternoon the city was a bloodbath.

The violent crackdown marked the beginning of the end of Soviet Russia’s rule over Azerbaijan. We forever remember #BlackJanuary
