@SoRclassroom I’m just starting with science of reading so I’m trying to figure this one out - apologies. Is it about building prior knowledge in a different way or vocabulary building or am I missing something completely? Trying to learn and understand.

@MmeLockhartLDSB Just started mid year this past year with decodable texts and more phonemic awareness. Next year my goals are structured phonics order, using phonemique and way more printing practice. Also trying to figure out how I know if I’m where I need to be in vocabulary building.
