The first Ramadan in my life to be able to drink water in public while completely safe. Water isn't tasteless today, it tastes FREEDOM!
Don't take yours for granted.
@twittwootwiggy Come to think of it, all men are seen as potential rapists from some of those who will lose their minds if someone saw a Muslim as a potential terrorist.
Generalisation is justified when it fits the true bigot.
@InfideliaBacon@Sense_Czech@markhumphrys Just a short note on the OP. The left never claims to be in support of of those who are liberal. in fact, they seem to support the contrary quite often.
@InfideliaBacon@Sense_Czech@markhumphrys having a "relatively western looking leadership" is more about that leadership's lifestyle rather than being a reflection of its society.
A tribal country as Jordan would for sure give such results. it is more about tradition than religion. ( men should be viewed as women) //
The obsession with race made the criticism of religion governed by the color of the majority of its followers. Those who do so, in a dialogue about ideas, are the true racists.
Being an "Islamophobe" is less about what you say and more about where you say it. Will Raif be celebrated in the West if he said what he said, did what he did, in the West?
What if all western governments stood by Canada and said the same? Will the Saudi Arabia cut them all? Isn't western pressure what made them abolish slavery in 1962?
After defending itself from a baseless charge of Islamophobia by East London Mosque, @CEMB_forum will be marching again at #Pride London this year, fighting for the rights of #LGBT people and non-believers.

Ex-Muslim @Alkhadra69 wanted to be a Jihadist for Allah. Today, he's a fierce critic of Islam, and an advocate for those oppressed under it. Take the time to see/hear his story, and share far and wide. :)

News reports state that Egyptian Atheist and blogger Sherif Gaber - who was arrested at Cairo airport whilst trying to leave Egypt on 2 May - is being prosecuted for "wanting to overthrow the Egyptian regime" with 27 others. Defend him. https://t.co/GGLUeengWh
