I can tell labels are trying to bring back Hype Williams level cinematography and concepts to music videos but someone needs to tell these directors to stop putting so many ideas in one video and focus on telling a story!

I kinda agree with this. There’s a lot of beautifully shot or aesthetically pleasing looks but there’s no thread to them. It’s an era of formations & transitions but very little concept.
