You won't fix your culture with silence.
Healthcare leaders must speak up when it is difficult to do so.

The most successful healthcare organizations excel at communication—especially when navigating difficult or emotionally charged conversations. These organizations create a culture where dialogue and debate are not about "winning" but about gaining deeper understanding and perspective.
At ALL, we focus on equipping healthcare workers and leaders with the tools to communicate effectively in high-pressure situations. Our new Civil Discourse lectures and workshops are designed to help you approach tough conversations with empathy, clarity, and purpose—turning challenges into opportunities for growth and connection.
In this clip, Jess Bunin provides an insightful overview of Civil Discourse and how it can transform your approach to communication.

Effective leaders know that saying "no" can be a powerful way to build a positive culture and support team development—we call this the opportunity of no.”
Is this approach to "no" new to you? If so, we invite you to watch our engaging discussion, where Stephen Lettrich and Cristin Mount introduce our "no – but – and" model.
This three-phase approach empowers leaders to explain the reasoning behind a "no," suggest constructive paths forward, and provide guidance that enhances culture and communication.
We also explore why healthcare leaders may find this model challenging—and the valuable benefits it can bring.
