@sereautunnali@lelune888 It’s a shame for many that were born and raised in Italy seeing someone who doesn’t know anything about Italy getting it easily. Unfortunately to the government, it’s never about who deserves it or not. Unless they change to better it, it really depends on your luck at birth.
@Ehi_befree@rougenoir77 Well there’s no right or wrong. In the UAE, it’s impossible to get citizenship if you don’t have an Emirati father. Everyone just has to follow the law as it is unless it’s changed. Also she still qualifies in 2026 because her mom already has Italian citizenship.
@Mojobestboy Who the fuck is telling you what to do lol. I don’t even know why Yall are unsatisfied with a rich Italian descendant getting citizenship. Yall act like Italy has the most oppressing citizenship law when there’s countries that would grant citizenship only though paternal lineage.
@lelune888@sereautunnali Citizenship by descent is still very much in place lol. If she had applied before 2025, her great grandparents being born in Italy were sufficient enough. If she had applied in 2026, her mother already has Italian citizenship so again it is very easy for her to apply anyway.
@sereautunnali I mean it’s like going to the UAE to give birth and raise your child there , expecting your child to be an Emrati when the law just doesn’t work like that. Very unfortunate for many but the law isn’t something new so it isn’t something unexpected.
@averagehetalia Italy has always been known for jus sanguinis. Italian Americans follow procedures of what the Italian government has set to get the passport. We have bigger problems in Europe with how uncontrolled the borders are. A rich American getting citizenship is the least of our concern.
@yakovlefou Italy will always prioritise giving citizenship to ethnic Italians with traceable Italian lineage. It is the law. She never took any privileges away from others because the privilege is there only for people who are ethnically Italian like her.
@wsrngr The point is she is ethnically Italian with traceable Italian lineage on both sides of her family which qualifies her the Italian citizenship by law. She’s not breaking any law to get the passport and she will not require any government funded assistance. So why are you mad lol?
@k10mbp@notpopbase How is she not Italian ethnically if her grandparents are Italian. She doesn’t become a Native American just because she was born and raised in the states lol
@dayjee_1 Dembele was a headache for Barcelona with how he missed plenty of important goals and was injured most of the time . But he is fantastic for PSG with how he can rest for plenty of matches and show up for big matches. Same would probably happen to Ferran
@CuleFermin A Mark Bernard and Frank Louis would’ve fetched Barcelona minimum of 200 million. Realistically tho, perhaps only 120 million with the negotiation skills that deco has
@11synergy How’d you think he made it to the World Cup squad ? Playing for Barcelona. Having his other World Cup winning Barcelona teammates pass him balls and create opportunities for him. Change that to a 16th ranked club and see if he even gets a call up.
@LaLigaMichael As the man said himself . Anything can change in one minute. He’s a cunt for saying what he said knowing full well this club is shit in selling
