@cwig8@hannahbggg Who cares what nationality golfers are outside the Olympics and Solheim/Ryder Cups? Great golf is great golf, and if there was more coverage of the LPGA Tour, there would be more great golf to watch.
@GolfloverUK@george_gill7 Making up cringe worthy, meaningless team names isn't the way to make team golf work.
The only time it works at the moment is when the teams are Europe and the USA in the Solheim and Ryder Cups. That's because fans relate to them. That's what's needed for it to work.
A six-time major champion
Back-to-back wins at @TheMasters
Half way to the double Grand Slam
Rory McIlroy sits above every major champion without the Grand Slam to their name now.
#Golf#TheMasters
@MMcEwanGolf Absolutely love Butch! I wish we could have him for more than just The Masters, but I completely understand why he doesn't want to do as much now.
@HoodieUce@Andystevens_70 They don't have a choice. Before 7pm, they can only show featured groups and holes, even then, there are a load of restrictions.
Compare it with their coverage of The Open when they're in control. Full live coverage from 6:30am until the 9pm.
@matt_poz@TomFornelli Danny Willett was also in the form of his life at the time. A worthy major champion given the way he had been playing.
Considering some of the one-week-wonders with a major to their names since then, Willett gets an unreasonable amount of shade.
@Glute_Activator Correct. The Open has the best coverage, Sky Sports showing full coverage from 6:30am until 21:00 with minimal and very short ad break interruptions.
@ewenmurray77@shambo220 I hope you'll be doing the majors still Ewen. The regular PGA Tour broadcast has become almost unwatchable with the dreadful world feed, apart from Beemer and Radar of course.
It's gutting to hear that the end of the road is approaching for you. Hopefully a few more majors yet.
@QuackWTD1@KylePorterNS The only way Koepka gets ahead of Rory with a win this week is if he also wins The Masters and The Open.
Even then, Rory's other achievements in the game (FedEx Cups, Players wins, away Ryder Cup wins) would still leave the two of them very close.
@MMcEwanGolf I'm not sure it is a blow. She's the presenter whose absence I notice the least when she isn't there.
Iona would be a huge loss. For me, she should be the one to take over from Ewen Murray when he hangs up his mic. Superb golf knowledge and brilliant commentator.
@MMcEwanGolf I watched the same round as you Michael, with my sons in tow, I'm glad they have had the chance to witness Tiger doing what he does.
What a privilege it was to be sitting behind the postage stamp for that tee shot.
@chiefsguy91@JasonSobelGolf If both sides had received nothing as you had suggested, 13.5 is the number for Europe to retain. Shane's putt would still have been to reach it.
@chiefsguy91@JasonSobelGolf Both the US and Europe received half a point, that's the equivalent of both sides receiving nothing, which is one of the options you suggested.
