@baydews If you’re thinking about giving Pathfinder a shot I’d recommend trying the Beginner Box, it’s really well designed imo! It’s a great way to learn the rules, it also helps ease the GM into running games! Takes about 1-2 sessions to complete :)

@baydews But that’s just my personal preference, I like a more “crunchy” system, I know others who prefer 5e combat.

@baydews Pf2e combat feels more engaging to me. It’s very rare to have a turn where you feel as if you’ve done nothing in pf due to the 3 action economy. Encounters require more tactical thinking and teamwork to stack bonuses in your favour. 5e combat feels a bit dull in comparison now 👀

Been playing Arco this week and it’s SO good! The combat is simple yet really satisfying and the storytelling is fantastic. Deffo recommend it, I think it might be one of my GOTY 👀
