@MySportsUpdate Cardinals rookie DT being on IR/PUP is a regular occurrence.
- Z. Allen '19, neck injury Week 4 out rest of season.
- L. Fotu '20, IR for ankle Week 9 till Week 13.
- D. Robinson '24, training camp calf injury IR til Week 9.
- W. Nolan '25, offseason calf injury PUP til Week 9.
@KTSmithFootball Need something if OT is selling out hard to the outside & weight heavy on outside foot. Keeps OT guessing.
Also good move to prevent rusher from getting pushed up the arc. Once engaged past QB, some OTs will flip their hips & try to run rusher up arc. Spin move takes advantage.
@KTSmithFootball Most gifted thrower of the football I have ever seen.
It is crazy how quickly he can hear "yellow" and two quick steps later the ball is released on target with great velocity. The other QBs are taking ~4 steps to process & align to throw but not all of them were as accurate.
@MichaelBeck56 I can't see an offer being more valuable than the prospect Jones as a swing tackle for 2026. Not sure why so many people think only about the starting guys and not about how depth is needed.
Coming back from injury and the obvious weight loss is also going to tank his value.
@QuincyAvery Agreed.
The impact a coaching staff has on football team is also much higher. Basketball is much more player driven once the game begins. NFL is much more dependent on the game prep that is led by coaches.
Much large roster & staff to manage w/ more specialized positions too.
@ASaunders_PGH Gross.
Honestly do not like that the NFL removed the number restrictions by position. Some numbers should not be used for certain positions. 39 is not an LB number.
@BrettKollmann Not using your money right.
You get more bang for your buck buying more Supreme Court Justices because there are only 9 of them. 2 Senators aren't going to do much in a 100 member Senate and a 535 member Legislative branch.
@drmistercody@BenBankas Dr. Mister Cody, I'd also like him to elaborate on how this audience member "looks like she works at the Royal Bank of Canada" and could control his bank account? What did he mean by that?
@ByJoshCarney Dude has NFL frame, arm talent, & athleticism. Probably could have been a late first round pick in 2026. This is going to affect him a bunch for 2027.
Wonder if missed games due to suspension affect his NIL deal at all? No 2026 supplemental draft means he can't avoid this either
@Nate_Tice Jarrett Bailey repeated proves he doesn't know anything about OL play, and very little about football. I wouldn't bother trying to convince or explain anything to him.
@jglow43@Nate_Tice Fautanu started 29 games at LT in college including 2023 where he was 1st Team All-PAC10, won the Morris Trophy (best PAC10 Lineman), & UW's OL won the Joe Moore Award for best college OL.
It was RT that Fautanu had never played prior to the NFL.
@MPFrazer So if the reason you are interested in Richardson is because of physical traits, it makes more sense to gamble on raw traits QB in this draft that you will have on the cheap for the next 4 seasons to evaluate &/or develop.
@MPFrazer He also had only 1 year left on his contract.
If the goal is for Rodgers to return, you aren't going to be able to evaluate Richardson in Steelers offense before he hits free agency & becomes significantly more expensive. No time to take advantage of lower $ contract.
@BenjaminSolak@TommyJaggi I would argue with the QB class & their current draft position, they are not going to go after a "starting" QB in 2026 draft.
They'll gamble on a mid-round traits QB to compete w/ Howard. If it doesn't work they are just in a better position for seemingly deeper 2027 QB class.
@nickmmark@sammieLJ17 I was talking in generalization, short form nature of Twitter would not allow for discussion of differences in on set and duration. Of course dosing matters.
Other than that I defer to your opinion.
