@segalink Calm down sir,
Fuel subsidy can still return and this time people will be held accountable for each and every kobo.
Nigeria can afford to subsidize for Dangote refinery and Dangote can expand his distribution with other companies like AA Rano, Aliko etc
This evening, I received the heartbreaking news of yet another victim of the worsening insecurity in Kawo Ward, Kontagora Local Government Area.
The victim, Aliyu Alarama, is not just another statistic. He is one of us—a dedicated Local Government Coordinator of the Rise Up Nigeria Movement @RiseUpNaija_RUN and a patriotic young man who believes in a better future for our country.
Aliyu left home, like millions of hardworking Nigerians, simply to earn an honest living. He had just begun operating his tractor on a farm when armed bandits reportedly emerged and attacked.
In a desperate bid to survive, he climbed a tree, hoping to escape. According to accounts I received, the attackers pursued him, shot him in the head, brought him down, and forced him to record a video message to his family, threatening him as they demanded he tell his loved ones he was in their custody.
This is heartbreaking and deeply disturbing.
As I write this, Aliyu is reportedly still in captivity, and his condition remains unknown. We have also been informed that one of his brothers has gone into the bush in the hope of finding him. We pray for his safety as well.
Ya Allah, in Your infinite mercy, protect Aliyu, grant him strength, and bring him home safely to his family. Guide and protect everyone involved in the efforts to secure his release.
How many more innocent Nigerians must live in fear simply for trying to earn an honest living? How many more families must endure this pain before decisive action is taken to end this insecurity?
We cannot allow this to become our new normal. We believe Nigeria can be safer, stronger, and better. As young patriots, we will continue to raise our voices and demand accountable leadership, effective security, and a nation where every citizen can live and work without fear.
Please join us in praying for Aliyu Alarama’s safe return.
