The Hillsborough disaster was caused by the police NOT drunk fans

The Hillsborough disaster was caused by the police NOT drunk fans

The Hillsborough disaster was caused by the police NOT drunk fans

You can’t say this enough.

[lan Byrne MP @IanByrneMP]

Today I have written to the head of the UK Football Policing Unit after its disgraceful attempt to link alcohol with the Hillsborough disaster following the Prime Minister’s call to ease restrictions at football matches.

Alcohol did not cause Hillsborough. The behaviour of supporters did not cause or contribute to the disaster.

These are the authoritative, factual conclusions of the inquests and the independent investigations. They are not matters of opinion.

Thirty-seven years on, when will policing authorities finally accept the truth and stop perpetuating the lies and smears created in the aftermath of the disaster?

Enough is enough.

Imagine being given somewhere around 80 years on a planet floating through an incomprehensibly enormous universe, surrounded by billions of people you will never meet, mysteries you will never solve, places you will never see, and more knowledge than you could absorb in a thousand lifetimes...

and spending the whole damn thing worrying about money, arguing with strangers, impressing people you don't even like, and doing something you hate five days a week because somebody convinced you that was life.

I don't know, man.

I think we may have gotten a few things terribly wrong.

@AnfieIdFix Weird post. He’s not good enough - average player, never been a regular starter, performative / bad attitude. Bye bye

Refuses to meet with directors to discuss her concerns.
Just continously blocks it every time we make progress and it goes on another whip around.
Gets to Shabana and she refuses to support.
Every. Single. Time.
We've written to her to ask her to meet.
She refuses.
We've asked for a written explanation of her concerns.
She refuses.
Its infuriating and incredibly disrespectful to the members within the Hillsborough Law Now campaign group. Their lives are on hold.

If you are worried about

Benefit Fraud £0.5bn but not Government Corruption £219bn.

Immigration £2bn but not Tax Havens £150bn.

Junior Doctors pay rises £1.3bn but not Bankers tax cuts £7.3bn.

You‘re buying their lies.

Note to all Liverpool fans: we do not accept 'Coutinho Money' as a valid payment method in store

@DalglishPaul I’ve been going to Anfield since 1978 and can say I agree! The emotion and noise was beyond anything I’ve experienced there ever. I was in Istanbul, Madrid, Barca 4:0 at Anfield at this was the top. What a day ❤️

[Allan Farrell @AllanFarrell]

@ColinValla I’m an LFC fan and enjoy watching your posts. Honest, funny, non-tribal. You’re a good human and a proper footy fan. Good one mate 😊

@fopminui The boyfriend was innocent, the father was high on methamphetamine when he murdered the young man

[Farrukh @implausibleblog]

Left: Boris Johnson, "People lost loves ones before their time.. I was directly responsible for managing the crisis.. Whatever the failings of our handling the transmission of covid.. Brexit saved lives"

Middle: The Lancet, "The level of criminal incompetence exposed by recent witnesses to the covid inquiry.. has proven that many, if not most of the 230,000 deaths were preventable"

Right: In 2020 Dr June Raine, head of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency explains that the UK got the vaccine while still under EU rules, it had nothing to do with Brexit

Boris Johnson is an absolute disgrace. How many lives would have been saved if we had a Prime Minister who cared about the country more than he cared about his ego?
