@UB5simon Vince Cable says it will be like a slow puncture but eventually economic shock will come. Other factors will play into this. 1. Who would want to invest in this country now unless just UK market. 2. Car industry threatens massive redundancies. 3. companies moving out.

@newsthump @atatimelikethis We do evidentially but I don’t think it does sort the problem. In the States Trumps rating remain the same and he’s collecting vast amounts in campaign fundraising.

@El86562179 @riverabsurd Its not the whole story but in a way the electorate was more frightened of the far left ideology than the far right. Corbanism would have been less damaging as the right have so much power in controlling the media and in wealth.

@BettinaSRoss1 @SimonUbsdell A very good point. I took on board the argument after the referendum that we must be ‘nice’. In retrospect it was enabling. It should have be made socially unacceptable to knowingly cause huge damage to your country both economically and culturally. 😥
