This is truly shocking data out of Oregon.
Between 2016 and 2023, nearly 1 in 100 insured children ages 8 to 17 received a gender dysphoria diagnosis.
By age 17, around 1 in 240 insured girls were on testosterone and 1 in 630 boys were on estrogen.
Was Jordan Peterson rightly concerned?
You be the judge.
Quotes from the article by:
"When Toronto professor Jordan Peterson started arguing loudly against compelled speech in 2016 a lot of people thought he was making a big fuss about nothing.
Well, here we are in 2026 and a Quebec teacher either lies to parents or loses their job. With the connivance of officials in the provincial government, the teacher is being ordered to renounce their conscience and commit, what is to them, an immoral and unethical act."
...
"According to Séguin, it is the first time a court action has raised freedom of conscience without also raising the issue of freedom of religion.
“It is true that prohibitions against lying are common to all religions, but my client’s conscientious objection is not religious in nature,” said Séguin.
“Secrecy toward parents, which in practice amounts to lying to them, is a serious violation of the legal contract that binds the state to its citizens.”
Séguin believes that the case is likely to be a landmark case concerning schools’ secrecy policies and freedom of conscience.
Let us hope the teacher wins, because once the state is allowed to lie in its policy documents, and once that is used to order people to lie to other citizens, then we are no longer sacrosanct individuals. We are mere tools of the state.

Canadian with three citizenships bumps into Canadian with two citizenships, and they pretend to be normal Canadians who didn't make their fortunes by leaving the country.🙃
My Op Ed is out today. I lost my sister to the opioid crisis shortly after starting my 2024 BC election campaign. It’s time to confront the real harms of harm reduction. #bcpoli Harm reduction has failed us, time to help people recover https://t.co/dEl9d2pQNb
Government and civil society must stop giving cover to these violent men with fictional identities. Women are done with this. Canadian politicians and candidates, are you listening yet?? #cdnpoli@liberal_party@CPC_HQ@NDP@BlocQuebecois
Many of the inputs I have received for my upcoming report on violence against women and girls in sport and which i will present at #GA79 in October, stress the need to maintain single-sex spaces for safety, fairness and basic human dignity.
This week at #PARIS2024 we may all witness the damaging consequences for women and girls when the principle of sex separation in sports is not respected. I will be watching the Olympic boxing matches with utmost concern.
Determining an athlete’s sex can be simple, accurate, and dignified: it only requires a single cheek swab in a lifetime.
Despite being billed as the Gender Equal Olympics, this analysis of international sports governing bodies shows that almost every Olympic sport allows males to compete in the female category.
Our own research of UK sports governing bodies is similarly depressing with the vast majority failing to protect fairness and safety for females. Fair sport matters from grassroots to elite.

So, I went to Pride yesterday.
A few thoughts.
There was a very definite split between LGB & TIQCAPGNGFNBA2S+.
The T+ contingent were very performative draped in flags (very few rainbow flags though) & were VERY young.
Conversations inevitably turned to the T+ & there is real anger from the LGB. Even from previously staunch allies. They recognise the harm the force teaming has had. They recognise that Pride is now nothing more than a village fete & they're pissed off.
I lost count of the conversations I overheard that they're "taking over" & "nothing about sexuality" & the eye rolling when identity, queer or non-binary was mentioned was breathtaking.
A few people I kept my distance from over the last couple of years because of the TWAW shite actively sought me out to tell me they'd been wrong, that they now understood my concerns.
I'd been dreading it, but I'm so glad I went because the tide hasn't just turned, it's a tsunami.
Also, there was, at least, one other terf there because there was A LOT of stickers.
Our story made the front page of @nationalpost today and is available in over 270 outlets across Canada.
This is HUGE!! The more we talk about this issue of men invading women's sports, the better. Make sure to grab a copy. We can look back at it down the road and remember all the great women that spoke out, and hopefully, by then, we will have our sports back. Keep speaking up both men & women. 💪💪

How freakin' often do we hear about uncancellations and replatformings?!
Well, you're hearing about 'em now.
We are THRILLED to announce that almost a year after losing our booking at the Cowichan Community Centre, and after many months of letters back and forth, thanks to our wonderful legal team @TDF_Ca, @mycvrd have very magnanimously reconsidered, and allowed us to re-book the space for our event 🏆🙌
Get tickets by donation here: https://t.co/RxI4kXWV5C (or pay cash at the door $5 minimum — though we appreciate more as we need to cover our venue costs!) Let's gooooo! 🇨🇦🎉🚛
.@GraceALore, one question:
What should we make of the Cass Report?
“As the dust settles around Hilary Cass’s report – the most extensive and thoroughgoing evidence-based review of treatment for children experiencinggender distress ever undertaken – it is clear her findings support the grave concerns I and many others have raised. Central here was the lack of an evidential base of good quality that could back claims for the effectiveness of young people being prescribed puberty blockers or proceeding on a medical pathway to transition. I and many other clinicians were concerned about the risks of long-term damaging consequences of early medical intervention. Cass has already had to speak outagainst misinformation being spread about her review, and a Labour MP has admitted she “may have misled” Parliament when referring to it. The review should be defended from misrepresentation.
The policy of “affirmation” – that is, speedily agreeing with a child that they are of the wrong gender – was an inappropriate clinical stance brought about by influential activist groups and some senior gender identity development service (Gids) staff, resulting in a distortion of the clinical domain. Studies indicate that a majority of children in the absence of medical intervention will desist – that is, change their minds.
The many complex problems that affect these young people were left unaddressed once they were viewed simplistically through the prism of gender. Cass helpfully calls this “diagnostic overshadowing”. Thus children suffered thrice over: through not having all their problems properly addressed; by being put on a pathway for which there is not adequate evidence and for which there is considerable risk of harm; and lastly because children not unreasonably believed that all their problems would disappear once they transitioned. It is, I think, not possible for a child in acute states of torment to be able to think through consequences of a future medical transition. Children struggle to even imagine themselves in an adult sexual body.
