@HORSESHOEGANG so I felt like this needed some pop to it so I put this together.... idk what rap room even is yet but it sounds like something deserving of VFX lol
@demetrius_cob Describing something annoying or that you might dislike with word "hate". Hate takes effort and brings nothing positive to anything, but people use it to describe a song on the radio they don't care for,or a hairstyle some actress wears,"I hate that". Its far to accepted
I was 12 when The Humpty Dance was released, and when you bought the single on cassette, the B-side was just the instramentals, instrumentals, I would mimic Shock G word for word and did so an entire summer in 1990. RIP Shock G and thank you
A lot of young, casual hip-hop listeners probably had to Google who Shock G was, but Digital Underground was one of the 3 artists that made me a lifetime hip-hop fan.
@HORSESHOEGANG Yo, I just want to say I have a ton of respect 4 u guys and how you jump on live every week and put yourselves out there for the fans, not to try and sell something, but to have actual talk about the love of hip-hop,not many artist do that period. It means something
I grew up in the 90's, and DMX spent countless hours playing on my stereo. The dj at a club I worked at knew to play him right when I would come in. As a fellow addict, I know the daily struggle, and he should not be remembered for that, but the amazing art he gave us in music
This story Murda Mook told about how DMX trained his dog to adlib for him during battles is just as legendary as it is hilarious. Pulling for you X. We love you.
@demetrius_cob That someone other than their mom, at some point in the early stages, looked at some of these wack supposed rappers and said "Yo,that is fire bro, you should pursue a career in that shit!", and they fucking believed them! That's just being a horrible friend. Fucked up,but true
@demetrius_cob Completely unrelated, your killin me with the "fucked up but true" segments, and through the laughs I was inspired to make shit lol. Rough draft of course.
@CrookedIntriago was just watching an interview with Hopsin a little while ago and he shouted you out as 1 of his top 5 dead or alive to do it...... thought that was showing a lot of respect to a great βββ
