After a two week vacation when the Senate took drastic measures to prevent Trump from making any recess appointments, they finally reconvened at 3 pm and what did they accomplish?

They agreed to vote tomorrow on 2 judicial nominees, approved a “Mental Health Awareness in Agriculture Day”, and passed a resolution honoring former U.S. Senator Donald W. Riegle Jr. That it. That’s all they did and they adjourned at 6:27 pm.

They go on vacation for two weeks, set a return time of after 3 pm, clock out a few hours later, and call it a day. This is what we pay them for? This is how they earn lifetime pensions?

We don’t hate our own government enough but specifically @LeaderJohnThune @SenateGOP
Vote them all out!

Maybe consider giving them a very narrow probationary path to resident alien status and later even more conditional - citizenship…. Some assimilation - language, civics, required.
