Not saying stay in a toxic environment, but disconnecting from local church community or taking an indefinite break from it is no where a biblical concept. I was in deep therapy, sabbatical, and shepherding b/c of it and I still came through it loving the bride of Christ locally
I deeply empathize w/ people who have had significant church trauma. I would however say people have no idea that MOST pastors & leaders in churches have experienced more trauma than u can imagine from people in the church and are called to remain faithful while hurting deeply 🙏🏿
