Throughout history, men and women who carried the Spirit of God have faced opposition. The conflict isn't really about intelligence, influence, or position; it's about the presence of God. Darkness has always resisted the light.
What we call "cancel culture" today is simply another expression of an old struggle: the attempt to silence truth and intimidate those who stand for it. Jesus warned us not to be surprised when the world pushes back.
When you encounter resistance, don't be discouraged. The opposition isn't primarily directed at you; it's a response to the Spirit of God at work in your life. Stand firm in your faith. Be courageous in your convictions. Let your life reflect the truth of God's Word.
Anything that seeks to take the place in our lives that belongs to Jesus is antichrist in nature. Any ideology, belief system, leader, or cultural movement that asks us to put our trust somewhere other than Jesus is moving in the wrong direction.
The Apostle John said there were already many antichrists in the world. The spirit of antichrist was at work then, and it's still at work today. It opposes the truth of God's Word, rejects the authority of Jesus, and offers substitutes for the lordship of Christ.
As Christ-followers, our assignment isn't to live in fear or spend our days speculating about the future. It's to cultivate discernment. We need to know the truth well enough that we recognize a counterfeit when we see one. The more we know Jesus and the truth of Scripture, the less likely we are to be deceived by the voices competing for our allegiance.

The Bible teaches that we are the temple of the living God (2 Corinthians 6:16), not a building. The Church is far more vital when we leave campus. When we gather, it's for encouragement, strengthening, and ministry. It's a time of refreshing and renewal. But we leave the church campus to go be the Church. That means our faith isn't something we practice for a few hours each week; it's meant to govern the way we live every day. We belong to Jesus. It's not our calendars, our time, our talents, and what we want to do. We have yielded those things and offered ourselves as living sacrifices. We're not trying to get the boxes checked, so we know we're going to Heaven, and now we can get on with doing what we want. Every aspect of our lives should be surrendered to the Lord.

For more than 200 years, every American service member received a Bible when entering military training. Chad Robichaux says that changed in 2009—and the consequences have been devastating. Our warriors deserve more.
The God we worship is in the restoration business. There aren't any perfect families; we're all a bunch of cracked pots. If you think someone is perfect, you just don't know enough of their story. Life is difficult and challenging, and we all need God's restoration.
The story of the prodigal son in Luke 15 is intriguing to me because it's a portrayal of restoration displayed at the table. “My son, who was dead, is alive again. Put a robe on him. Kill the fatted calf. We're going to have a celebration around the table.” The son was welcomed back home and restored by his father to his place at the table.
God will restore what we have bungled or Satan has destroyed. If your family narrative is less-than-ideal, and you've stepped away from it because it seems hopeless (or perhaps you think you failed), I would remind you that the same God who brought restoration in Luke 15 is still bringing restoration in the twenty-first century.
The Bible speaks of antichrist, which can have two meanings: anti meaning “in opposition to” or “in place of”—in this case, in opposition to or in place of Jesus Christ. The spirit of antichrist originates from Satan’s determination to be worshiped as Jesus is intended to be. And its outworking opposes Jesus’ purposes in the earth but also cunningly attracts the worship, praise, and priorities that Jesus deserves. So, the spirit of antichrist doesn’t always present as something beastly. It’s often something enticingly attractive that will capture your heart. You have a choice to either serve the false Christ or make Jesus Lord over your entire life, serving the true Christ in righteousness and holiness and sharing in His Kingdom.

We celebrate, clap, and cheer that Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords—that every knee will bow and every tongue confess, and that through the cross, He won an irreversible victory over Satan and his kingdom. All these things are true. But they also should compel us to bow our knees and submit to His authority.
The enemy’s greatest weapon is often accusation. “You’re not enough. You’ve failed too much. You came from the wrong family.” Those lies don’t just attack our thoughts—they shape how we see ourselves and what we believe is possible.
But imagination can also be a weapon for good. What if the same mind the enemy tries to use against you becomes the place where God restores hope, purpose, and identity?

.@GordonGChang on China's ambition to become the world's superpower: “This is not like they want to compete with us. They want to destroy us. And that is a critical difference, which means this isn't a competition. This is what the Chinese call unrestricted warfare.”
Cooper Smith of @A1Policy on sanctuary cities: “Look at what’s happening in Virginia, in Fairfax County, where half the murders being committed are by illegal aliens, and the Left in this country right now says they would rather prioritize them than the American people.”
We are called to be different from the world—not primarily because of our wardrobe or our vocabulary, but because we have different objectives in life. Our purposes shape how we invest our strength, resources, and gifts. They define what our ambitions are. We don't simply live like everyone else and occasionally step into a religious building to worship. Instead, we offer our lives as a living sacrifice to Almighty God, making every aspect of our lives distinct.
It's not about our time, our calendar, or our possessions; rather, it's about asking, "Lord, how may we serve You?"
There are loud voices, many rooted in academia, that claim there is no historical evidence a culture can be transformed, and that individual choices are insignificant. I completely and wholeheartedly disagree. Our own national history resounds with the courage of generations who made enormous sacrifices so we can enjoy the freedom and liberty that define us today. These blessings did not come cheaply. I am deeply grateful to God for those who followed a different compass and had the courage to stand up for what was right. As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation, let's give thanks to the Lord for His blessings and never forget that freedom is not free.
“For the first time in history, the Office of Faith is one of those 17 offices right next to the President of the United States.”

Lord, thank You for all the ways we see You moving. Thank You for the freedom to proclaim the gospel in the earth. Thank You for the men and women who have given themselves to its cause and for the sacrifices that have been made.
We pray for our own nation. May the truth be told. May it be shouted from the housetops. May the deception, fraud, and theft be exposed. May we have a heart to choose You. May our schools return to a biblically-centered worldview. May our universities be delivered from indoctrination. We thank You that the spirit of antichrist and the influence it has gained is diminished in this nation, through the name of Jesus. We praise You for it.
We thank You for Your Church in the earth. Lord Jesus, You are the Head of the Church. There's no expression of evil that intimidates or threatens You. We pray that we might grow—that through Your Spirit, we wouldn't just maintain the status quo, but we would have a heart from You to be the hands and feet of the Living God in the earth. Give us the strength, wisdom, and determination we need. May we have a spirit of encouragement to help one another. In Jesus' name, amen.
We're witnessing the steepest decline in Christianity in the history of the Church in this nation. And how are we responding? With indifference: "No thank you. I don't want to get involved in public discussions. I don't want to engage with culture. That's politics." But this isn't about politics, folks. It's about being salt and light. We have to engage with the world in which we live.
Everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will face persecution. There will be pushback—not because of governments or politics, but because there is spiritual conflict in the world. When you identify with Jesus and claim Him as Lord of your life, you inherit an adversary. Whether we like it or not, that affiliation brings resistance. But don't be frightened or discouraged. Greater is the Spirit within you than the spirit that opposes you. God is more than able!
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." — Matthew 24:14
Jesus spoke these words to a small group of disciples in an occupied region of the Roman Empire. From a human perspective, the idea that His message would spread to the entire world would have seemed impossible. There were no airplanes, internet platforms, smartphones, or global media networks. Today, the Scriptures are being translated into hundreds of languages, missionaries are carrying the gospel into remote villages, and people across continents can hear the name of Jesus with the click of a button. What Christ declared is unfolding before our eyes.
But this passage should not merely lead us into fascination with prophecy; it should confront the condition of our hearts. Many people are consumed with trying to identify signs of the end times while ignoring the very mission Jesus emphasized.
So, the central issue is not simply whether these are the last days. The more pressing question is whether our lives are actively aligned with what Christ said would define this era: the advance of His gospel to the nations.
