Nothing can prepare you for the news of a good friend dying—especially when it’s sudden. On Friday, Michael Clemente, the executive producer of Allen Jackson Now, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 70. I met Michael several years ago while I was being interviewed on Centerpoint, a daily news show he produced for TBN. I visited the show frequently, and we became good friends as we exchanged stories about life, faith, and his work as a producer for Peter Jennings, 20/20, Fox News, and more. He had an insatiable hunger for news, and his passion for bringing current topics to the American people helped inform our nation for many decades. Michael played a significant role in helping us launch Allen Jackson Now in 2024, and I am grateful for his expertise, his friendship, and his heart for bringing a biblical worldview on current events to people across our nation. Please pray for his wife, his four children, and the many friends he leaves behind.
