Severe thunderstorms (and perhaps a few tornadoes) will be possible on Sunday across parts of the Mid-South, maybe even up into the Midwest.

Given the recent moisture sweep, there may not be a lot of moisture available for Sunday's setup, but may be adequate enough for at least a line of storms along the cold front, capable of damaging winds and embedded tornadoes, aided by strong dynamic support.

TORNADO SEASON IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!
An uptick in severe weather potential appears likely during the first week of March through the middle of March with the development of a trough-ridge pattern.

We are finalizing the rebuild of the Dominator 3 and @WillClay25 has put the science mission on his back! We will be launching dozens of sensors into the tornadoes this year for real-time tornado intensity. @localmanweather and I have been grinding out the rest of the Team Dominator speaking tour, with our next event tomorrow night in Effingham, Illinois. On March 1 we will return to the heart of Tornado Alley to test sensors and gear up for the active pattern ahead.

2026 will be a BIG year for #tornado science!
