@Paul_Coady10 A brilliant servant to club and county. Was as good as any hurler around for more years than some lads even played with their county team. Awful to think that Coldplay will probably play more times in Croke Park than some of our best ever hurlers
@StephenBrowne4@jackomango I am a big Smaller Fish and Wooly fan so a bit biased probably. I like his mix of guests tho. I find Skehill a bit much to listen to. Paul Murphy is a good reader of the game tho
@KillianM2 I’m the same age as Danny and I 100% listened to her music when I was 12. A woman’s Heart came out in 92 and Mary Black and Eleanor McEvoy were very well known around then
4 hour journey to Clare, venue changed at 12pm for a 2pm game, no dressing room before the game or hot showers afterwards… not usually one to give out but really not good enough. @OfficialCamogie
@movementcoachkm The problem is that for a good number of years, certain passages of play were played at pedestrian pace. Passing the ball over and back around the middle of the field at a slow pace, no wonder they’re more tired now. Players from the mid 2000’s would be grand in this game
@DonachODonnell 100%. There was a time when real defending was valued and rewarded. Now a forward can hold the hurl by his side, pump his arms while taking 8 steps and then throw the ball to a teammate. Players throughout the field are dragging and leading with the spare arm into the tackle too
@GaelicStatsApp You don’t have a clue yourself. Lads standing in front of the goal and hand passing the ball over the bar instead of going for goal is ridiculous
@neil_shannon@PlayerGaelic To me having equal game time at under 18 level is way too much. At that stage lads are almost fully developed and how can you justify giving a lad who is the strongest on the team and possibly playing adult senior the same game time as a lad who might barely train?
