Maintenance of patents is automatic. Maintenance of copyrights is not. I have both.

@TAYL0RWTF I think everybody is missing the point. BAYC has allowed derivative work of their copyright. It is their responsibility to maintain that copyright. They haven't, they lose. Plenty of precedence in the US court system.
