I posted this on my LinkedIn, but with my super random set of Twitter followers/homies, I thought I’d share here too! Journalists, writers, biographers — any advice? https://t.co/PxU30rqXuM
If you joked about, “May the Fourth be with you,” today but are not upset about the (likely) possible repeal of Roe V. Wade, you would belong to/support the Empire. Full stop, sorry, I don’t make the rules.
The perfect image to share on the third anniversary of my @OhNoPodcast tattoo 💜💜💜 (Also worth noting, I’m one of two grandchildren 😂 but considering my sister just had a baby, yup, definitelyyyyy the most disappointing)
My BRILLIANT best friend Dr. @MSteinerHistory wrote this dope article for the WASHINGTON POST!!!! The whole time I was reading it, I was waiting for a mention of my tattoo buddy @CarriePoppyYES and @OhNoPodcast, because, honestly, “I’m sure it’s all true.” https://t.co/Mgh3b4bRjt
I’m definitely not a fan of the “boss up thotiana” mentality (phrase 100% stolen from @kurtisconner), but I will say, if you’re not telling your friends you love them, you need to boss up.
I’ve decided to go full-tilt weirdo and climb into bed at 7:45pm simply because I don’t feel like being awake any longer. In my defense, I am waking up at 3:45am, so technically this is just my eight hours.
Thing I love about this year’s VBS curriculum: the Bible story videos use entirely non-gendered language to talk about God!
Thing I don’t love: the kid who finds a way to hit the whoa in almost every single “music video” 😂#VacationBibleSchool#ChildrensMinistry#JesusLovesYou
Accomplishments with depression are so weird. It’s like, “Yeah, let’s celebrate that to insult myself I only used the word ‘mad’ rather than something like ‘idiotic,’ ‘garbage,’ or ‘useless!’” #MentalHealthMatters#DepressionThoughts#BabySteps
Okay, maybe I’m dumb, can you explain to me why a restaurant would only have one server on their patio…on a beautiful night…during a global pandemic…and send that server home at 8pm…when the restaurant closes at 10pm…and not replace them?
Thank you to @RepCori of Missouri for the boldness with which she just spoke on NPR. To have people like you, with experience and passion, in our government gives me hope, no small feat right now. And yes, #BlackLivesMatter
The day after the 2016 election, I went to see a friend at work. For a long time, we stood and held each other. As we deal with and reel from this election season, there can be no in-person embracing. PLEASE. Check in with your people. Show and tell them you love them.
