Such an outpouring of love for Matt. I had the pleasure of knowing him. When, against all odds, we were trying to fight for #Yeovilladies to be accepted in @BarclaysWSL , he was one of the very few who took time to help and support.A man true to himself and his values. RIP Beardy
Liverpool Football Club is deeply shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of former LFC Women manager Matt Beard.
The thoughts of everyone at the club are with Matt’s family and friends at this devastating time.
@TauntonTownFC A special man whom I spent many hours with on football related matters with clubs in the south west. His experience and eye for detail was unsurpassed. Never afraid to voice his opinions, but he always did so with integrity and dignity. RIP Roger
@SomersetCCC So well done @ECB for setting a final date at the end of September for the players and fans of two “ proper “ counties and showing the lack of interest in this competition. Heaven forbid that it should get in the way of @thehundred. Wake up and smell the coffee please
It is a very valid point Andy which I too have been making this season. I am sorry to say he has not made the greatest career choices and needs to reevaluate… as does the Club.
@DanKingdom96 I have concerns regarding Smeed as luxury player to have due to him being very hit and miss. More miss atm. Could learn a lot from Banton who has adapted his game. Smeed seems very one dimensional. He has scored less than 30 runs in last 5 T20 innings.
Your week in week out character assassination of Smith is boring and totally lacking in class. Yes he missed kicks but most other pundits credited his overall game. Why you have this obsessive need to put him down does you no favours as a journalist
and finally before more football agony - I'm reading that Marcus Smith's poor kicking is for some reason evened out because AB's was poor too. So you can only play badly if your opposite number plays well? One of the great nonsense theories at fly-half which is crippling England
Yeovil Town Football Club can confirm that Rhys Rosser has today stepped down as a Director. 📰
As the fans will be aware, Rhys has a number of other professional commitments and him stepping down allows him to focus on these.
Rhys has been of great support to the club over the period of transition and all at the club are very grateful to him.
