@crabby30somthng Fwiw, almost all the L&D nurses at my hospital (the one offering hella sign on bonuses lol) love their job and it seems to be a good work environment! They tried hard to recruit me from the ED when I was there having my baby ๐
@Q2turnQueen My nurse brain canโt comprehend the fever with teething and I refused to accept it for the longest time but my little gets up to 102 almost every time.
@nursekelsey Have 7/10 of these symptoms. Had a virtual visit today and getting tested this afternoon. Mentioned the research suggesting throat swabs but they continue to only do nasal and provider said they donโt know of anywhere in the area that does.
@TraumaSoapBoxes Still an ADN 9 years later because I canโt justify more debt for a few letters that likely wonโt change my nursing practice or get me paid more money. Plus my alma mater is consistently ranked one of the best programs in Maryland!
@acweyand Mine was 3, my iron saturation was 5%. I was 32 weeks pregnant and working 12hr night shifts in the ED with a toddler at home. There wasnโt a word expressive enough to describe my fatigue.
@momofdroids I feel that. My 10yo asks me to do the most random things sheโs 100% capable of when Im feeding the baby and have a clingy whiny toddler crawling on my lap.
