Painting rocks and hiding them to bring a random smile to someone's face in remembrance of my daughter who passed last month. Finders post them on a FB page in her honor..Allison's Angels Rock
Miss you BB
Often the advice for getting through grief is to think about all the good memories. But, there are no more memories to be made. I have little encouragement to offer to others except this... you aren't alone in this darkness and I'm truly sorry you are here too. XO
Being there for someone who is grieving...
Listen with your whole being, not just your ears. Listen with your body, your heart, your eyes, your total presence. Listen in silence, without interrupting or offering solutions to fix what can't be fixed.
I used to hold you as you drifted off to sleep. Now, you're with the angels.
I will hold you in my heart forever. Never apart. I love you Allison.

Grieving is personal. There is no right way to do it. It's okay that you're not okay. You will get there when you get there. This isn't about rules. Be kind to yourself.
