Here’s a question, How do you make sure that students are using technology in a resourceful way rather than a distracting way? How do you keep students engaged when technology is in use? #pstpln
A4 Keeping students in the curriculum is easy when you give options that still allow them to be creative. If a student needs to submit a paper, allow them to choose any concept from that unit that interested them. It gives them creativity, but within a boundary! #pstpln#wemake19
https://t.co/TQWp1GxfWq environments have changed to encourage more independent and creative thinking, how do you encourage students to follow their own passions and ideas while also staying in the confines of curriculum? #wemake19
A3. Allowing students to plan gives more time for trial and error, the projects I did well in school were the ones I had time to discuss which ideas were the best for that specific project! It makes planning that project less stressful and easy to complete. #pstpln#wemake19
Q.3. Taking the time to plan can allow students to trouble shoot before beginning their work, how do you implement a “think” stage into your classroom projects? #wemake19
A1. The biggest fail i’ve ever had was when I failed a geography test in college, it took a very long time to get my grade back up, but the professor was very understanding and I ended up with a B in the class! Shows that giving effort pays off! #pstpln#wemake19
A3. I think it’s incredibly important to tell your story because every single person is different and their experiences have molded them into the person they are today. It gives us a good look on who you are! #pstpln#EDUC331
I am participating in #CelebrateMonday because of how much i’ve learned about teaching this week! I am excited because today I learned how to create an online profile that caters to learning for students and educators alike! #pstpln
Hello #pstpln community, my name is Allison Bull and I hope to be a high school history teacher. I hope that this challenge helps me create a digital profile for my students and fellow educators to get to know me.
@Bigler_Michelle A3 I feel that social-emotional learning is the most important because students are learning from and with the world. It provides students with academic development, and contributes to their social-emotional development as well. #EDUC331
@Bigler_Michelle A2 Students will need to have student empowerment in order to be ready for college and life beyond their education. Student empowerment is beneficial because students take purposeful action to improve their own lives and to positively influence the world around them. #EDUC331
@Bigler_Michelle A1. My name is Tatianna Medina, I am a Family and Consumer Sciences Major and a third year student at CSU! I have had experience in global learning through social emotional learning-I have explored my identity and others identities in the classroom! #EDUC331
