@TastingHistory1 You have an excellent channel. I think you should also write a Food History book with all the very interesting gems of history you give on the recipes you recreate.
Jam didn't used to be called jam. It was called conserva, recorded in 1502, conserve, recorded in 1530 & preserve was recorded in 1600.
The word 'jam' emerged in 1730s. It may mean the way the fruit is 'jammed' or 'crushed' together.
Interesting facts? Are you a jam lover?
@CreesonAgecouta I’m really sorry to hear this unhappy news. Your reporting was always fantastic, and I always enjoy your segments. I think you are a great journalist.
@TastingHistory1@fakehistoryhunt This is adorable. I love that beehive and those animals. If you do get it and put it together can you show the final product to us on one of your videos? I’d love to see close-ups of this medieval scene.
Dear superstitionists,

@TheRegencyCook I make all of my own cakes. I love the baking and decorating process, it’s one of my happy places. I also get to listen to the audio books of Sandman while cooking and baking.
