@teacher2teacher Who ever said warm ups have to be content? My warm-ups are always SEL. It helps with that transition time and allows Ss sometime to show up mentally before having to dive into content. Sometimes I even need that time to show up.
@teacher2teacher Before talking shop, you have to build those relationships. Sometimes you have to go slow to go fast. This idea I got from my husband who works in EMS. In teaching we just want to solve all the problems right now. But this work takes relationships. Relationships is slow work.

@MarisaEThompson More than 2 preps for my first year teachers. I have been arguing that everyone in my dept must have 2 preps before someone has 3. Especially a first year teacher. For me… I would like to wear less hats at times… I would like to just focus on coaching teachers
