The first feels odd because in Canada folks are moving south to find "freedom," perhaps out of a sense that the empire there is less crumbled.

My parents are on the verge of losing their 40 yr home because the landlord feels the need to flee the country to escape government/media persecution. This alt-right surge is not feeling like a joke anymore. We need to find better ways to satisfy people's hunger for meaning asap.

@ayyessarr The problem is the doctrine of infalliblity. If the church cannot be wrong, it is difficult to imagine a way forward. I wish this teaching was part of the conversations.
