@JanisIrwin@JanisIrwin The solution? Many people in encampments don't want to go to shelters they want safe encampments w/ facilities & storage who pays? Your middle class can't afford any more taxes, to replace stolen items or delays w/emergency resources that are tied up at encampments
@AgarLawreen @JanisIrwin People don't want to know the dangers that 1st responders face every time they go into encampments; They only want to blame EPS for the enforcement that the COE directs them to do More housing won't solve this deep-rooted complex problem & just takes the issues out of sight
It is our greatest honour to attend the IAFF Fallen Firefighters Memorial alongside 5 of our members families, our Edmonton Honour Guard, the @edmonton_fire_pandd and our @edmfirememorial. This year we had 11 members forever memorialized on the walls of the @iaffofficial site.
Last month Governor General Mary Simon awarded KD Lang Canada's highest Honor for the performing arts.

@BrianJeanAB hopes and prayers don't bring appropriate resources and manpower; the scarcity of these 2 real & proven options is due to funding cuts. As per the public records, those cuts are on the #UCP One could say that the #UCPisTheFire
@TheJayDavies The UCP: 1 Cut the wildfire budget by $15,000,000 2 Defunded an entire elite wildfire fire fighting in 2019 3 Cut essential wildfire training impacting rural municipalities 2019-2022 4 Denied WCB coverage for firefighters @BrianJeanAB your words ring hollow & mean nothing
@BradHoekstra@LukaszukAB@AlbertaPFFPA 100 billion over 3 years to the oil industry to clean up orphan oil wells when they are legally required to do so yet this is OK to the general public?
