Here is my submission for the @GoDark promo video contest.

While i understand the most "web3 projects" follow almost the same pattern of promotional video

As a certified marketer myself, i believe the best promotional videos aren't the ones that outwardly sell a product

rather, they're the ones that give viewers the freedom to interpret and tap deep into their own emotions.

I didn't "just" make a video about GoDark.

I made a video about the feeling of finally finding your edge.

I’m Tired. Angry. And Honestly, I’m Done Pretending.

The Nigerian government is shouting at us:

“Go and file your taxes! Deadline is March 31st!”And all I can feel is pure frustration burning in my chest.

File taxes for what exactly?

For electricity that never comes?

I had to build my own solar system with my hard-earned money because the national grid abandoned us.

I still keep a generator as backup, coughing out expensive fuel just to survive the darkness.

For water that never flows?

Every week, I and my neighbours pool money together just to pump water.

Something as basic as water has become a shared burden even a bag of pure water is now slod for N600

For cooking gas and petrol that now cost more than in countries at war?

Prices keep rising while our pockets keep shrinking.

For the ₦50 they deduct from my account every time I send or receive ₦10,000? They take it without mercy, even as I struggle to make ends meet.

I pay for solar.
I pay for fuel.
I pay for water.
I pay these endless bank charges.

And now they want me to pay ridiculous taxes.

After everything, almost nothing is left to save.

Surviving is now dangerously close to swallowing my entire income.

One small problem and I’m finished.

This isn’t living. This is slow suffocation.

How did we get here? A country so rich, yet treating its citizens like cash machines while giving nothing in return.

I haven’t filed yet.
And right now, my heart is screaming: Give us basic amenities first.
But my spirit is exhausted.Nigeria, fix this.

We can’t keep giving when we’re running on empty

i also got inspired by an anime-style piece where characters had different supernatural abilities… posted by @artfanszone

and it clicked
why not bring my own imagination to life?

that gave me the push to try something from my own perspective

The publication of the MiCA compliant white paper marks a shift from narrative phase to regulatory phase. The document clearly positions the IDOS token as a utility token required to access and interact with the protocol, not as a financial instrument . That distinction matters in Europe.

From my perspective, three things stand out.

First, structure over speculation.
The association is Swiss based and explicitly non profit. It controls 19.2 percent of supply and is transparent about treasury, expenses, and energy usage. That level of disclosure is not accidental. It signals long term positioning inside EU compliant rails rather than short term market extraction.

Second, clarity about risk.
The white paper does not sugarcoat anything. It explicitly states that the token may lose value, may not be liquid, and may never be listed . Most projects bury this language. idOS makes it front facing. That tells me they are optimizing for regulatory durability, not emotional momentum.

Third, the token has defined utility inside the protocol.
It is required for writing personal data, issuing credentials, reading verified data, and becoming or delegating to validators . That means the token is structurally tied to protocol usage. If identity demand grows, usage grows. If usage grows, token relevance grows. The linkage is functional, not narrative.

What is happening now feels like consolidation.

That is the phase we are entering now.
