Carolyn

Living and crafting in a tiny apartment with my cat, my Bernina, and just enough fabric to keep me going.

And so it begins... https://t.co/WYIJRUwPIw

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

@Stitcheuse Thanks.

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

@jolittletime Thanks.

I had always written off Trump as an idiot, but people are apparently drinking his kool-aid. Maybe he's a maniacal genius after all.

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

Today I am shocked, embarrassed to be an American, and terrified of what's to come.

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

@sotosewn My thoughts exactly.

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

@Stitcheuse Haha thanks. Assuming we all survive until the morning. :)

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

Can I close my eyes until it's all over? #Election2016

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

@Stitcheuse Thanks! Hopefully it will be done before the end of the year.

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

Sleeves are in!

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

Setting in the sleeves on my Robson trench. Not fun. 1 sleeve done, 1 more to go.

I'm finally on Instagram! https://t.co/jKw84wNzTL

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

@ColettePatterns apologizes for the Rue, but still refuses to admit error in these low bust darts and unsewn hem. Sarai, we're listening...

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

Noodlehead petal pouches, complete with upside-down whales! #sewingfail https://t.co/SKyIvXzjxx

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

Just tried on my floral Robson trench for the first time with all 3 layers - exciting! Warm and heavy.

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

@Sewbusylizzy Oh man! Sometimes it's hilarious to see what you get straight out of the envelope. Hope you can fix it. :)

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

@sewmelwyk Oh man, hope things shape up for you! I made the mistake yesterday of setting in sleeves in rayon while in a bad mood.

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

More trench coat sewing today, but I felt like everything was going wrong! Ever have a sewing day that just doesn't work out?

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

Colette finally admits "we made a mistake." https://t.co/4PSccz2nJ2

[Carolyn @AllspiceAbounds]

Just realized that my fusible hair canvas is NOT sticking to my fabric! Not cool man, especially at >$20/yard.
