A customer asks "Why do some dovetail drawer have a scoop in the front?" Answer - A scooped front is an option on pull-out drawers that is both attractive and functional. It serves as a handle. Pullout drawers are used in pantries and cabinets to give easier access to contents.

"Inside less 10 and check again." That is an easy way to remember how to calculate drawer width. Measure the inside cabinet width and subtract 10mm. This yields proper width of the dovetail drawer when using Blumotion or Movento slides. Always good to check measurements twice.

Does your cabinet need a unique drawer height to work ideally? We have upgraded to CNC dovetail machinery that does not restrict height to one inch increments. The new machine automatically spaces the dove notching evenly over any height.
