I want to give a HUGE thank you to our PTA for allowing us to bring the amazing Earth Dome assembly to LT! @LTES_FCPS_PTA We learned so much about world geography & it was wonderful to see the continents on a globe with appropriate sizing. Thank you, thank you!!!

Today we celebrated finishing our realistic fiction stories with a book tasting. We read each other’s books & gave each other compliments. It felt good to write & receive positive feedback! @LondonTowneFCPS

Today was a good reminder that some students prefer to write their thoughts about a book instead of speak them and more ideas may come to mind when given the opportunity to write them. We ran out of room on the smart board!

Eli wanted to show 100 using printed pictures. This led us to using repeated addition or multiplication when we thought about how many copies of a page we would need to print. #100thDayofSchool

Showing 100 different ways led us to great mathematical thinking on the 100th day of school. How many rulers would we need to show 100 inches? Are there extra inches needed? How many?
