Why read Walliams’ The Ice Monster when you have these brilliant Victorian adventures to read? What else would you suggest so children can widen their reading opportunities?

These have arrived! - the finished, hardback copies of a little book I've written about the joyfully unpredictable experience of producing Father Ted.
Publication is Feb 20th but I'd like to give away two copies early - RT by Saturday 6pm and my dog Watson will pick the winners.
Sorry, but I really hope people who love #thewildrobotmovie know it was inspired by my book. It's mentioned in the credits but most people don't read that stuff. If you love the movie you should check out the book! There's more to the story and it's a quick read. #thewildrobot

You might not be able to get (or afford) tickets to see Oasis at Heaton Park in Manchester but you can buy tickets to see Paul Heaton in Manchester.
What a night it will be.
A national treasure, performing much loved songs which span four decades, with all tickets at £35.
Nigel farage wants you to think that Britain has an immigration problem.
It doesn't.
Britain had a problem with millionaires hoarding wealth, egged on by politicians and the press.
Britain has a problem with racism.
Britain has a @Nigel_Farage problem.
