Thank you @IoannaCBC and @manciniCBC and @CBCcameraman for putting this piece together with care and compassion. Shame feeds on darkness, bring it directly into the light. @CBCTheNational
An open letter to @MarkJCarney, and now #MarjorieMichel "Autistic people in Canada deserve more than hopeful words. They deserve bold, coordinated action—and to see their government treat autism as the national priority it promised." @AllianceAutism

This breaks my heart, when I found the lump in my breast I was told by my doctor it wasn’t anything. I pushed for a mammogram and found out it was an aggressive form of breast cancer. The exact same as this woman. Doctors need to listen to women. https://t.co/7qCZqjb9SF
As a person on the spectrum, I 100% condemn RFK’s actions and statements directed to autistic people in the US, and I call on all federal parties to follow suit. I also fervently reject any attempt to “cure” autism as has been cruelly proposed. #AutismAcceptance#cdnpoli
During a federal elx, and Autism Acceptance Month no less, I think it’s reasonable to ask each federal party leader to denounce RFKs recent characterizations of Autistic people, and confirm this is not an approach Canada will adopt. @PierrePoilievre@MarkJCarney@theJagmeetSingh
props to jeffrey goldberg for his high standards as a professional journalist.
when he realized the conversation was authentic he immediately left, informed the relevant senior official, and made the public aware without disclosing intelligence that could damage the united states.
if you want to know why the public isn’t the media now, start with jeff.
Pete Buttigieg breaks down DEI for everyday folks—keeps it simple without being condescending.
“The opposite of diversity is uniformity. The opposite of equity is inequity. The opposite of inclusion is exclusion. I don’t know a lot of people who think we’d be better off if our lives had more uniformity, inequity, and exclusion.” @PeteButtigieg
Our problem is clear though: too many value uniformity over inclusion, and they’re the ones running the government today.

So proud of this new program. It is a win/win. Our program participants get valuable work experiences and 159 get a free lunch delivered to them. What a way to give back to community! @eastersealsns
I want to congratulate Prime Minister Trudeau on his time in office, and wish him well.
He served our country through tumultuous times. Whatever disagreements we have had, his love for Canada is always evident.
Public service is a great privilege, but can require sacrifice — especially for families. I know PM Trudeau has always been there for his kids, and I hope as he steps away from politics he gets to enjoy more time just being a dad.
Hey @RachaelThomasAB , please be better. Stop willfully sharing rage baiting, political hyperbole. I’m so tired of the dishonesty from people elected to represent us.
Mark Carney is officially the Prime Minister of Canada—without being elected by Canadians.
Canadians deserve a leader they choose, not a Liberal insider chosen for them.
