South C MCA Hon. Abass Khalif on Wednesday disbursed Ksh 1,483,500 to all Lang’ata constituency football teams participating in the upcoming FKF leagues, while also pledging to provide two sets of uniforms per team and cover transportation costs for match days.

He stated that the initiative aims not only to identify and nurture sporting talent but also to deter youth from drug abuse, adding that support will eventually extend to other disciplines such as volleyball, basketball, tennis, and athletics.

Mandera County Governor:

Excerpts from the Statement by Ulamas ( Muslim Scholars) on the unwarranted attack on them by the Governor yesterday in Mandera West. His remarks amounted to mocking & belittling of the Scholars, and a slander against Islam, according to the Scholars. They say it's a sign of ignorance exhibited by corrupt tyrants.
They have urged him to repent to Allah.

We urge all Imams in Mandera county to dedicate tomorrow's Friday Khutbah to this important matter.

It's important to read the attached statement by the Scholars to appreciate the seriousness of this matter.
