The past three days have truly been a source of pride and happiness as I witnessed the outstanding achievements of the Respiratory Therapy Department at Mohammed AlMana College during the #Best_of_AARC Conference & FRCS Courses.

In addition, a student research poster presented by Ebtehal Haider and mentored by me won 2nd place for Best Research Poster Display.

Another research poster by Dr. Masarrah Aljarouf achieved 3rd place, reflecting the strong research culture within the department.

Among 68 research posters presented from across the Kingdom, a student research poster mentored by Ms. Ghadeer Alowiwi won 1st place for Best Research Poster and was nominated for presentation by our alumna Fatimah Alkuaibi.

في ظل الحاجة المتزايدة لتوحيد مفاهيم ومهارات الرعاية التنفسية وفق معايير عالمية، برزت دورة FRCS – Fundamental Respiratory Care Support Course كنموذج تدريبي مؤثر وعالي الاعتماد.

ورغم أن الدورة تُنظَّم تحت مظلة الجمعية الأمريكية للرعاية التنفسية (AARC)، وتهدف إلى توحيد الأسس العلمية والمهارية للرعاية التنفسية وفق أفضل الممارسات المبنية على الدليل،
إلا أن تدشين هذا الكورس عالميًا كان من المملكة العربية السعودية – الرياض، عام ٢٠٢٤، في خطوة رائدة تعكس مكانة المملكة العلمية ودورها المتقدم في التعليم الطبي والتدريب الصحي.

واليوم، تستضيف المملكة أيضًا الدورة الثانية عشرة في الدمام، استمرارًا لهذا النجاح وتأكيدًا على الثقة الدولية بالكفاءات والتنظيم السعودي.
فخرٌ كبير بهذا المنجز الوطني، مع خالص الشكر والتقدير للأخ حسن العريني صاحب الرؤية، والفكرة، والدينمو الحقيقي المحرك لهذه المبادرة العلمية المؤثرة.

وقد تشرفت بالمساهمة في كتابة كتاب الدورة، من خلال فصل اضطرابات النوم ضمن المحتوى العلمي للدورة.
