I do believe margins plays a role; remember, this new a node w/ possibly 50% yields atm. Lower binned chips are then saved for 50,60, 70 class cards, if not thrown out. When the manufacturer process gets cheap, demand will have been met by then. They should’ve delayed launch.

The decision to not accept pre orders is 100% on Nvidia. They will not allow any board partners to allow pre-order or back orders of any kind. Step-up; as of now, is the only way to circumvent Nvidia’s BS
